Geblinddoekt schilderen
Tijdens het Rotterdamse festival Bruisend Park schilderden Candy Dulfer, Flinke Namen en Giovanca geblinddoekt voor Face This. De blinddoek stond symbool voor het ontbreken van tekenmaterialen voor de Indonesische basisschoolleerlingen van Duduk Atas. Het schilderij hebben we op eBay geveild en leverde 500 euro op. Bovendien is de firma Bazroni, die het doek met de veiling gewonnen heeft, een trouwe sponsor geworden die ons maandelijks financieel steunt.

Voor een nieuwe Face This T-shirt collectie hebben we de mening van een aantal BN'ers gevraagd. Victoria Koblenko, Fatima Moreiro de Melo, Tanja Jess, Barry Atsma, Daniel Boissevain, Thijs Willekes en Geraldine Kemper gaven advies over hoe, wanneer en waarmee zij hun favoriete Face This T-shirt zouden dragen. De hele week lang publiceerden we een stijladvies op onze Facebook pagina. Dit leverde veel publiciteit op onder andere: Telegraaf, AD, Glamour en Fancy.
Face This is the first T-shirt line of which the prints are (co-) designed by primary school students from Indonesia. Obviously the profit from each shirt goes directly back to the school where the prints have been drawn. In this way the kids literally give shape to their own education. And you, as a proud owner of a Face This T-shirt, know exactly which school you are supporting.
